Plumbago plants are rambling bushes with branches that look like vines. Phlox-like blossoms it produces for expanded timeframes.
The Plumbago plant is fascinating such that it has a cylindrical calyx having clingy glandular hairs on it. It is a scrambling bush, ready to grow up to 3 m tall and with a spread of 2 – 3 m wide.
Leaves are obovate with crenulate edges, up to 25 mm long, thin and light green in shading. The leaf axils are winged with ear-molded limbs at the base of each leaf. Another notable element is the copious axillary development of leaves, bringing about numerous leaves of changing sizes being discovered everywhere throughout the plant, and an unmistakably thick and ragged appearance even in little plants.
Blossoms are white in shading, borne on adjusted terminal groups.
