Jade plant, sometimes called as a friendship plant, lucky plant or money tree, is a green friend that just won’t die! It’s perfect table plant or short bushy floor plant for a sunny location.
Jade plants are succulent houseplants with numerous, thick, leathery, green leaves. Growing in clumps on thick stems. Some jade plants varieties develop red edges on their leaves when exposed to bright sunlight. This compact sturdy plant produces tiny pink or white star shaped flowers around Christmas.
Light: Can tolerate medium-indirect light to direct light.
Watering: Water every week or two during winters or twice a week during summers.
Fertiliser: Feed a quality fertiliser at quarter strength every month.
Pruning: prune every year to keep the plant looking neat.
Soil: Well-draining, low water retaining soil.
