Amla (also known as Gooseberry) tree is a unique growing tree. It is a small to medium sized tree with  is a gift of nature to mankind. It is an indispensable part of the Ayurveda and Unani system of medicine. Amla has amazing remedial qualities.

Two varieties of Amla Gramya and Wild Vanya are widely cultivated. The wild Amla is small, hard and has lots of fibre, While the cultivated Amla is big, smooth and juicy. The Fruit of the Amla tree possess w=medicinal value. It is basically sour but at times it is sweet and pungent also.
