This fluffy, little amassing grass is ideal for the Waterwise garden! Plant Mexican Grass plume grass in very much depleted soil, close to other xeric plants. Give it sun or part conceal. It is viewed as deer safe. Plant in fall or spring. Water to build up it. 

From that point onward, water sparingly, during the driest of times. Inordinate water system or flooding precipitation, particularly in overwhelming soils, will spoil its underlying foundations. This is a Waterwise plant!.
